A Panic! At The Disco x 'Pray For The Wicked' appreciation post.

A Panic! At The Disco x 'Pray For The Wicked' appreciation post.

To celebrate the fact that today, Panic! At The Disco’s sixth album is out in the form of 'Pray For The Wicked', we’ve compiled the below list of very important things that we appreciate about the band and their new record.

#1. Track four 'High Hopes' is among the very best songs that frontman Brendon Urie has ever written! JUST LISTEN:

#2. About the new album, Urie says:

"This album surprised the hell out of me. I didn’t expect to have it out right now. I definitely didn’t expect it would have the songs that it does. And I never thought I’d be on album number six.

And it’s all thanks to you. Thank you for your constant inspiration and support. We’ve built something incredible together and I’m forever grateful to you for all that you’ve done and continue to do for me. So I present to you all: Pray For The Wicked.

Again, this album surprised the hell out of me. So I hope it surprises the hell out of you too.

All the love,

B, P!ATD"

I'm not crying. You are.

#3. The 'Say Amen (Saturday Night)' music video has been confirmed by Urie to be a prequel to the band's 2013 music video, 'This Is Gospel' (from their 'Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!' album), and the 2015 music video for 'Emperor's New Clothes' (from their 'Death Of A Bachelor' album). Check out the video trilogy:

#4. About the new album's title, Urie has said:

"I pray for all the wicked people doing wicked things and for all the good people doing good things every day.

I pray that my family stays safe while I’m on the road trying to share an incomparable experience with a million different friends.

I pray, but not to any one specifically. More to myself, pleading to stay positive and loving and open-minded.

I meditate on what concerns me. The things I enjoy. The changes I want to see in the world. The people who lift me up. The people who bring me down.

I pray.

So here’s a few more prayers from me and my friends.
I pray you enjoy it.

Love,

Brendon
Panic! At The Disco"
