Alert: J.K. Rowling's 'The Cuckoo's Calling' book is being adapted for TV!
This is a public service announcement about J.K. Rowling, but unfortunately it's not Harry Potter related. But it's still exciting.
Her crime novel 'The Cuckoo's Calling' is going to be adapted into television by the BBC! Well not 'officially' her novel, but the novel written by her pseudonym Robert Galbraith. It's all so exciting!
The series will be a three-part miniseries which is set to air in February 2015! She's written two books in the Cormoran Strike novels - the second came out earlier this year and is called 'The Silkworm', so if all goes well there might be another miniseries!
"It's a wonderful coup for BBC Television to be bringing J.K. Rowling's latest books to the screen. With the rich character of Cormoran Strike at their heart, these dramas will be event television across the world," said Danny Cohen, the Directer of BBC Television.
