With The Weeknd's New Zealand shows (at Eden Park on December 8th and 9th) right around the corner, we've rounded up five reasons why we think you need to arrive early and see his opening acts Mike Dean and Chxrry22.

#1.  Chxrry22 signed to The Weeknd's record label 'XO' and released her debut EP 'The Other Side' back in 2022. Check out her latest music videos for a taste at what you'll see this December... 

#2. Mike Dean had a feature in The Weeknd's HBO show 'The Idol' as himself. 

#3.  Dean has also produced some very iconic albums including Frank Ocean's 'Blonde' and 'Endless', plus Beyoncé's 'Renaissance' and many more.

#4. Dean performed a set at Rolling Loud earlier this year which you can check out below in preparation to see him live later this year...
