Finn Wolfhard and Carrie Coon rumoured for latest Ghostbusters sequel.

The legendary ‘Ghostbusters’ series is set to get another reboot - this time a direct follow-up to the first two movies. The newest ‘Ghostbusters’ is set to take place a few years after the end of ‘Ghostbusters II’, and in the same universe, unlike the all-female 2016 spin-off.

Plot rumours focus around a mother with connections to the original ‘Ghostbusters’ characters, and her son; speculations are that these characters will be played respectively by Carrie Coon and ‘Stranger Things's Finn Wolfhard.

Sony have loosely confirmed a July 2020 release, and director Jason Reitman - son of the original duo’s director, Ivan Reitman - is said to be beginning shooting this summer.
