J.K. Rowling debuts American wizarding history on Pottermore.

It was announced this week that J.K. Rowling is releasing a four-part series about the wizarding history of the U.S. on her Pottermore site. The series will be called 'The History Of Magic In North America' and the first interactive story is available to read already.

The entire series is scheduled to talk about the U.S. Hogwarts (called Illvermorny), the Salem Witch Trials, the U.S. Ministry of Magic (called the Magical Congress of the United States of America) and much more.
