Here's why you need to see Audrey Hobert live in New Zealand this May.

With the release of her debut album last year, 'Who's The Clown?', Audrey Hobert will be making her New Zealand debut performance with two shows in Auckland on May 9th and May 10th.

Here's why we think you should go and see her live...

#1. This will be Audrey's first time performing in New Zealand! She will performing at Auckland's Powerstation for her 'The Staircase To Stardom Tour'. 

#2. She will be performing tracks from her debut album, 'Who's The Clown?' which was featured on our Coup De Main's 2025 Albums of The Year list. We can't get enough of this performance of 'Chateau' that she did for Vevo Artists to Watch 2026. 

#3. We've been obsessed with the visuals for this album era and all the music videos... which is your favourite?

#4. We made a zine with Audrey last year which you can check out here. She shared in the interview:  "All I’ve ever cared about doing with my life is somehow, someway, making people feel like they have permission to be themselves. I have no choice but to be myself in this life; I just am who I am, I am always myself. If young people felt that they could always be themselves, even if they don’t feel beautiful, or if they feel awkward or unwanted, everything would be easier. For everyone. I want to be that voice for people. I want more than anything to be the person that someone can look to and see being so truly who they are, that it makes them feel like they are beautiful, funny, smart, interesting—like me. I have been shot down by boys, I have been called ugly, I have been told to shut up by my friends at sleepovers in middle school. But I have risen from the ashes and I have written this album. It is for everyone."

#5. We've been getting some sneak peeks across socials of Audrey's performances on the tour so far and we're both intrigued and excited about what looks like a very large trench coat and a mini trampoline...
