Ellie Goulding - "I need to be powered up [by lights]… I’m actually an alien but no-one has figured it out yet…" - returned to New Zealand to play Auckland’s Vector Arena last night, which was her biggest show of the Australasian 'Halcyon Days Tour'.

Considering that Ellie’s last shows here were two back-to-back nights at The Studio in 2012, it was a perfect victory lap for the UK singer-songwriter and her now Platinum-certified 'Halcyon' album.

Ellie on her upcoming NZ arena tour: "Isn't that mad? Isn't that crazy?! It's something that I still can't compute. It's so weird! It's an amazing feeling. I wondered when I was going to get back and get to do arenas; it's been a long time coming so I'm just excited for my show to be bigger and for the fans to actually see what a full, big show, can be of mine. I'm really excited."
