Thomston returns with new song 'Upstate'.

Thomston has returned with new track, 'Upstate' - which marks the first new piece of music this year from the artist. The track was written by Thomston alongside his partner and recorded at his home in Los Angeles. 

He shares on the song's thesis and writing process: "My partner and I wrote Upstate together, finding a huge well of material in a relationship being projected onto the concept of a geographical boundary. What is at the centre? How far can you get to the edge of the relationship without technically leaving the borders? What leads us to the outer-limits, and can those borders be redefined? It’s a song about infidelity and revenge, but equally it’s about the lengths we’ll go to justify our own behaviour, and how blind we can become to our morality in the process. It’s also just kind of fun, which felt so necessary when dealing with such a loaded and heavy subject. This is pop music, after all."
