Sia announces NZ + Australia 2017 tour.

Announcing her only live dates for 2017, Sia has revealed that she will bring her 'Nostalgic For The Present Tour’ to New Zealand and Australia this December, announcing shows for Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on Tuesday December 5th, Melbourne’s AAMI Park on Thursday November 30th, and Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Saturday December 2nd.

Tickets go on sale to the NZ show from 9am on Wednesday, June 7th via Ticketmaster.

In Australia, Sia will be joined by a girl-power line-up of opening-acts - Charli XCX, MØ, and Amy Shark.

And for NZ, "special guests" will be "unveiled in coming weeks".

"A multi-platinum artist, songwriter and international icon, Sia last toured Australia in 2011 to wide acclaim. Since then, she has shot to superstardom, becoming one of the most influential and prolific artists in the world. She has collaborated with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé and David Guetta; has penned songs for Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, and more, chalking up accolades including multiple Grammy Award nominations, and building a dedicated army of fans across the world, all the while maintaining an air of enigma and mystery that only adds to her allure.

The global pop sensation dazzled audiences with her unique live show at last year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, with TIME calling the performance “one of the festival’s best.”

Sia’s performances will feature hit songs from her chart-topping, Gold certified 2016 album, THIS IS ACTING, alongside iconic anthems from her previous releases; ‘Chandelier’, ‘Elastic Heart’, ’Clap Your Hands’ and more. The most-streamed female artist on Spotify last year, Sia’s accolades continue to build; currently Gold in NZ, ‘Cheap Thrills’ peaked at #6 on the NZ Radioscope chart. Singles ‘Elastic Heart’ and ‘The Greatest’ were both top 10 radio hits in NZ, while 1000 FORMS OF FEAR, Sia’s 2014 studio album, has achieved Gold accreditation."
