Rex Orange County has released his fifth studio album today - featuring singles 'Alexander' and 'Guitar Song'. He worked on this album with best friends Jim Reed and Teo Halm marking his longest record yet with 16 tracks.
About the new album, he says: "The Alexander Technique is very much a look into my own brain and experiences over the last few years – it’s almost a diary... I’ve made a lot of love songs over the years, and I feel as though this is the first time I’m trying to make a project about everything in life. In my mind, it’s exactly what I’ve always wanted to make."

#2. He recently did an interview with Billboard for the record where he discussed the tone of the album, collaboration and his personal favourite track. Read the full interview here.
He shares in the interview: “I don’t want a whole album of five-minute stories of me talking over piano, but I do want every song to feel this concise and thoughtful. So I was setting myself up for quite a task.”
#3. Rex is embarking on a theatre tour later this year where he will be performing tracks from the new record in an intimate setting.
