Watch: Rex Orange County previews a new song via Instagram Live + covers SZA.
To celebrate the four year anniversary of his 'Apricot Princess' album, Rex Orange County performed a variety of his own songs ('Apricot Princess' of course, 'Television/So Far So Good', 'Happiness', 'Pluto Projector', 'Loving Is Easy'), as well as some covers ('Good Days' by SZA, 'My Eyes Adored You' by Frankie Valli, 'Sunshower' by Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb, 'Still Crazy After All These Years' by Paul Simon, 'These Words' by Natasha Bedingfield) during an Instagram Live today.
Rex also revealed that he has finished work on his next album ("If you're a fan of 'Loving Is Easy', then I'd like to think there's some songs that will come out soon that you might like") that was recorded last year with Benny Sings in Amsterdam ("The album will come out pretty soon I'd like to think," he teased), and as promised, Rex also debuted a brand new song (assumedly from his previously teased new album, 'Who Cares?') in which he says with his signature earnestness: "I would love just to be stuck to your side, not with anybody else."
