Must-listen: After's debut single 'Something Special'.

Justine Dorsey has returned with a new musical project (formerly of Near Tears and Precious Kid), teaming up with Graham Epstein (who shares the exact same birthday of August 23, 1995) for new band, After.

The duo's first single 'Something Special' has big summer crush energy and wouldn't sound out of place on the nostalgic soundtrack of Charlotte Wells' directorial debut, 'Aftersun' (starring Paul Mescal).

About their debut release, the band says: "This song is a love song not just for a crush, but for the pop music of our youth - Michelle Branch, Fountains of Wayne, Hillary Duff - it’s referencing the stuff we grew up with in a way that’s very 2023."
