Introducing: Kawala + their new single 'Who'd You Rather'.

North London five-piece Kawala have been gathering momentum in the UK ahead of the release of their self-titled EP - from playing Reading & Leeds to selling out shows across the country, opening for The Vaccines, George Ezra, plus gaining a fan in the form of Sam Smith!

Inspired by the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Bon Iver, The Staves, and more, the group were originally formed as a musical partnership between Jim Higson and Daniel McCarthy - and today they've just shared another track from the upcoming EP.

The EP's lead single 'Heavy In The Morning' is ode to dealing with mental health, about which they said, “We wrote ‘Heavy in the Morning’ about when you’re dealing with your mental health, the struggle to achieve something as basic as getting out of bed. It’s been a song we’ve loved playing live over this last year with lots of fans requesting it’s release so we’re happy it’s finally out there.”
