Charlie Cox’s 'Daredevil' has reportedly joined the cast of ‘Spider-Man 3’.

Charlie Cox who portrayed Matt Murdock / Daredevil in the Marvel and Netflix series, will reportedly be joining the ever-growing cast of the new film in the Spider-Man franchise, ‘Spider-Man 3’.

It was reported that the character of Daredevil was off-limits to Marvel Studios due to contracts with Netflix and Marvel Television. With the two-year anniversary of the show’s cancelation having recently passed, the character is now open to use within Marvel Studios.

The currently untitled sequel known as ‘Spider-Man 3’ will be directed by Jon Watts and is set to arrive in theatres next year.
