Thursday 23rd July - State Theatre, Sydney
Sydney based band Mansionair have also just been announced as opening for both of these intimate theatre shows.
"The fast-rising three-piece landed firmly on their feet in 2014 sparking widespread praise for their debut single Hold Me Down. Quickly garnering a staggering 10 million- plus combined online streams, the mesmerising and genre-defying track saw the band release their Hold Me Down EP late last year on CHVRCHES’ label, Goodbye Records. With its ambitious songwriting, intricate production and the spellbinding vocals of frontman Jack Froggatt, the 12” vinyl release caught the attention of tastemakers such as NME, the Guardian and Stereogum, with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe proclaiming “I love [it]!... It’s a beautiful record.”
The remaining tickets for both shows will go on sale this Friday July 17th from 10am Australian time via Ticketmaster.
