Taika Waititi teams up with NZ Human Rights Commission on 'Give Nothing To Racism’ campaign.
Taika Waititi has joined forces with the NZ Human Rights Commission as the face of their new 'Give Nothing To Racism’ campaign, headed up by Race Relations Commissioner Susan Devoy, during which attempts to recruit fellow New Zealanders in a mock public service announcement.
About Waititi fronting the campaign, Devoy says that as New Zealander Of The Year, he was an obvious choice, and she contacted him while he was away working in America: "I sent him a letter, and some Pineapple Lumps, to Los Angeles. He took a day off working on Thor and did this."
