#1. Billie Eilish
She’s our latest cover-star (click here to read our cover-story), and at just 15-years-old, is impressing the heck out of everyone. Just announced in the long-list for BBC’s Sound Of 2018, Eilish is just getting started - with new music expected to be coming soon…

+ here's an acoustic version of her performing 'COPYCAT':
#2. Wolf Alice
Their album ‘Visions Of A Life’ has been one of our favourites of the year - from the utterly romantic ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’ to ‘Beautifully Unconventional’, a celebration of beauty in everyone - and we're thrilled Wolf Alice are finally making their way to New Zealand.
In our recent interview with Rowsell, she said about the song: “There shouldn’t even really be a word for unconventional - everyone should be celebrated for all the things; it’s who they are. It’s those little things that make people, and that build someone’s character.”

#3. The Internet
Fronted by the effortlessly cool Syd Tha Kid (who also makes her own, very excellent solo music), The Internet’s return to Laneway Festival next year is very exciting.
With a new album on the horizon (see below), The Internet promise to bring nothing but good vibes - just watch their NPR Tiny Desk Session below…
#4. TOKiMONSTA
With a brand new album under her belt in the form of ‘Lune Rouge’ (which includes a killer collaboration with MNDR on ‘We Love’), TOKiMONSTA will return to New Zealand for Laneway next year to perform what will surely be an unforgettable set.
The Los Angeles based producer is also very excited about some other acts on the line-up - she told us a few weeks ago on the phone: “Bonobo is a really good friend of mine, the very first tour I ever went on was with him, I opened for him a long time ago. I’m looking forward to The Internet and BadBadNotGood, quite a lot of people.”
