Lou Teasdale x Maybelline 'The Nudes' tutorial video round-up.

For the past week, our fave beauty guru, Lou Teasdale, has been collaborating with Maybelline to showcase their new 'The Nudes' palette - posting a weeks worth of 15 second eye-makeup tutorials on her Instagram.

If you have have been out of the loop or under a rock, we thought we'd bring up back up to speed with a quick round-up of the week's videos.

First off was the #ToneClash look:

"The first look I'm doing is #ToneClash so top lid I'm using WARM colours and then COLD underneath.. So the colour 4 all over the eye with extra colour 9 in the inner corners. Then colour 6 under the eyes and work in #maybelline's Big Eyes Liner into the lower lashes. T I P / / Finish off with layers of mascara for thick lashes."

Next, Lou showed us how to execute the ultimate nude eye:

"Seen as though it's a nude palette here is a really simple #NUDEeye - cover the lid in colour 11, subtly sculpt the sockets with colour 8 in the crease and highlight the inner corners with colour 1. TIP / / wear this eye with loads of lashes and a red lip."

Day three saw her take on the ever-frustrating cat flick:

"Using the matte colours and creating a soft smudgy cat flick. Using colour 3 all over and blending colour 5 into the crease. Add an extra bit of colour 6 in this crease to create a darker shadow. TIP / / use a mixture of Maybelline’s Big Eyes eyeliner and colour 12 with a flat angled brush to make it look stronger."

Lou then featured how to create the perfect smokey eye:

"Hiiiii today's way to use the @maybellinenyuk #nudepalette is showing you how to use the darker colours on the palette to create a SMOKEY EYE.‼️‼️ #fav Apply colour 8 all over the eyelid and under the eye, this will help the black blend nicer. Add colour 12 all over and blend into the brown. Add in layers and build up the black so the blend is nicer. Add loads of eyeliner. TIP / / apply foundation after you have completed your eyes."
