Fans have been conspiring since the release of Billie Eilish's album 'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT' that there is a second album being dropped - making this a double album release.
The theory of the double album originates from Eilish's favourite video game 'ilomilo' (which has a track titled after it on her debut record) in which there is a blue character and a red character. With 'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT' themed blue and and the closer track of the album titled 'BLUE', fans are sure that the second album will be red themed. When asked in an interview with Zane Lowe and Apple Music what she meant when she ended the album with the lyric, "But when can I hear the next one?", Eilish answered with a side eye to the camera and murmured unheard by the viewer to Lowe to which he responds, "That's fucking great."
