It has officially been confirmed that Zendaya will star as Ronnie Spector in the upcoming Barry Jenkins directed biopic. The A24 film has been long-rumoured but is now officially underway with Jenkins attached.
Prior to Spector's death in 2022, Zendaya was selected to portray her in the biopic. The film will be based on Spector’s 1990 memoir, 'Be My Baby', and focus on her life with music producer Phil Spector.
